The next phase of this study should investigate:

• More detailed modelling of the wind resource and the electrical output from a Wind Farm on either or both sites.

• The need for wind monitoring mast to monitor the wind resource.

• Issues such as shadow flicker, visualisation and noise from turbines on the chosen site(s).

• A site survey to determine ground conditions.

• Impacts on the environment, such as ecological habitats, telecommunications links, air-space use, and archaeological heritage. The need for an in-depth Environmental Impact Assessment should also be investigated.

• The extent of the community accepting the project and its involvement in how it is developed and operated (models for energy co-operatives and detailed costings)
